 Nina Rivera

With a quiet strength and sensual demeanor, you would never guess singer-songwriter & guitarist Nina Rivera delivers playfully vulnerable lyrics over pop infused electro music.

Her latest single, “Dive” is a catchy song all about attraction from her debut mixtape titled RIVERS. The video for “Dive” will premiere at Rhizome. Listen here.

Not.Alone

Not.Alone is a three man (Band? Collective? Set of musical brothers? Yeah, sure, all’at!) based in Prince George’s County, Maryland. With a focus on translating purpose and real life experience into genre-bending music, multi-instrumentalist DAETA, singer Marc Amour, and rapper Nomad the Native pull inspiration from jazz, hip-hop, and soul music to create a musical chimera that moves freely on stage and on wax respectively. Listen here.

 Knyves Escobar

Knyves Escobar is a Salvadorian-American singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Silver Spring, Maryland. From her darkest, deepest pains to her most exhilarating victories, Knyves has always used her affinity for music to document her life; an escape when there wasn’t much control. Knyves Escobar released her first single, “Jaded” in November of 2018 and has since seen a large following from listeners around the United States and abroad as she continues to release new music and visuals in both English and Spanish. She writes her music from a very genuine and vulnerable place that resonates with many of her listeners. Listen here.

czndfx

A 28 year old DMV native, czndfx curates production and visuals into one story. As his lyricism molds over various beats and moods, some say the room seemingly can stop. Listeners of many genres including boom bap, house, lo fi and even experimental indie will find themselves floating, falling, jumping and flying when czndfx steps to the mic. Listen here.
