Just Announced: KONGOS Tour With SIR SLY

One of our very favorite bands, Sir Sly, has just announced that they are embarking on a winter North American tour supporting Kongos alongside Tennessee indie rock band Colony House. As you may know, we have seen Sir Sly quite a few times including on their last tour just this past September (which we wrote about here). We've also seen them on tour with The 1975 and at Firefly Music Festival, so we're counting down the days until we see our favorite electrically charged dark pop act again. As for Kongos, we also saw them tear it up at Firefly last summer, and they are definitely a show worth seeing.

This lengthy tour kicks off on January 29th in Dallas, TX and finishes up in Los Angeles on March 13th. They'll be hitting all the nation's hot spots including our home venue, The 9:30 Club in D.C. on February 10th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 7th. For a full list of tour dates and links to buy tickets click here.

The Lunatic Tour is in support of Kongo's latest album Lunatic, which is a huge smash for alternative rock music. On Sir Sly's part, they will be featuring several songs from their latest album You Haunt Me, which is one of our favorite albums of 2014. We highly suggest you purchase both of these albums, and there will be links below. Both of these albums are available to stream on Spotify, as well.

If you're as excited for this tour as we are, let us know! We will be at several dates of this tour, so let us know which one you're going to by sending us a tweet or commenting below. Can't wait to see you all out there!
